I'm going to participate in the  "HUMAN NEEDS, NOT CORPORATE GREED - Month-long protest encampment in D.C.."
I'll be coming in for the Right 2 Know rally in front of the White House on Oct. 16th, take a couple days to do the tourist thing, and then join the protesters camping in Freedom Plaza.  Join me!  I'm not a great camper, so I'm staying in a hostel nearby.  Beds in a m a co-ed dorm are very inexpensive. They also offer luggage storage, laundry, kitchen... and best of all... showers and  real toilets. 

GARAGE SALE - Raising Funds for my Trip

I'm skipping the Phat Beets Crop Swap today to have a garage sale from 8am-noon.  Raising funds for my trip to D.C. and beyond.  If you know where I live, come by!!  Quality stuff: limited edition rock posters from my days in the biz, cool clothes, quirky art, nice dishes & kitchen items, a tv with remote & built in dvd player for only $20, 60yrs worth of GOOD books from my college professor parents, and heirloom seeds! Many seeds organic, and some are even exotic and rare. If you can nurse my vigna caracalla seedling back to life - you can have it for $3 (bought the seeds for $1 each) .
